Job Seeker Visa – Checklist for Indian Citizens
Required Documents
- •Valid passport (issued within the last 10 years, 2 empty pages)
- •Visa application form & declaration (signed, 2 copies)
- •Two biometric passport photos (recent, identical)
- •Copy of passport's data page (A4 size, 2 copies)
- •Proof of accommodation in Germany (full address required)
- •Academic or vocational qualifications (degree, diploma, work experience if applicable)
- •Recognition of qualifications in Germany (Anabin printout, Statement of Comparability, or vocational recognition)
- •German language certificate (B1) (only if applying with vocational training)
- •Proof of financial means (one of the following):
- -Blocked account (Sperrkonto) with at least €1,027/month
- -Formal obligation letter (Verpflichtungserklärung) from a sponsor in Germany
- -Recent bank statements
- •Motivation letter (explaining job plans, German skills, job applications, and reasons for choosing Germany)
- •Proof of personal status (birth certificate, Aadhar card with English translation if applicable)
- •CV
- •For applicants 45+ years: Proof of retirement provisions
- •Health insurance (covering the stay)
